In this third book in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.
Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker—unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.
When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.
My Thoughts

I can’t wait to read this! I still have to finish Scarlet, though, but I’m more excited for this one because it has to do with Rapunzel. Thanks for the review!
I loved loved loved Scarlet! But Cinder is definitely still my favourite. Thanks for stopping by!
I was already in love with Thorne, but he was even better here! Cress isn’t my favorite character either, but I really appreciated her 🙂 I agree, the different POV’s are so well-done. The stories all flow so smooth into each other 😀
I honestly think Marissa Meyer is a genius for her ability to have her plot points work so well together!
Love Thorne – he’s so endearing and humorous. But, I’m hoping Scarlet receives more page-time in the next novel. And, I completely agree, this series just gets better and better!
Fabulous review 🙂
I really hope Scarlet is back more too!
Thanks so much Lea 🙂
Hehe, I’m glad you loved it! I adore Thorne too, although I didn’t ship him with Cress. Thorne/Cinder is where it’s at. I’m a little sad about Scarlet being featured so little, but I agree, I loved the small insight into the ~things~ that her chapters provided. LOVE HER.
