It’s Wait for You as you’ve never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam’s side of the #1 New York Times Bestselling story.
Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up. He can’t get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.
Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery’s life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?
I’m usually wary of when author’s publish either a full length novel or a novella (which this was the perfect balance of both) based on the guys perspective. I feel like it would basically just be repeating everything that I had already read about. Jennifer Armentrout does not do that in any way.
The experience of being inside the incredibly swoon worth Cam’s head made him all the more incredible. He had a genuine male voice for someone his age and he was even more relatable than in Wait For You.
The romance and the slow burn of Cam and Avery falling in love was brand new all over again. It brought an even deeper insight into their relationship and Armentrout outdid herself with Trust In Me.
We also got deeper into his relationship with Jase and it made me even more excited to read his story, Be With Me.
Armentrout has fast become a favourite author, and despite some of her books (ahem, Frigid and Origin) tending toward the totally cheesy and kind of annoying, the Wait For You series takes the cake and reading Cam’s perspective will give you what feels like a brand new love story with amazing characters.
Let me know what you thought if you’ve read Trust In Me already! If not, tell me all about how excited you are for it!
