I’ve flipped and flopped with what I wanted to track throughout the semester, and I began with my reading progress but decided against it ultimately because I already do that. I decided instead to focus on tracking how m any days a week I work out. My work out is very specific, as the gym that I go to, 30 Minute Hit , is a woman’s kickboxing gym. It’s a high intensity interval training workout that has 13 stations that work the entire body. Each station is two minutes long, with every 15 seconds going into “double-time”, where you double the speed of what you would have been doing in your “power hitting” time. It’s intense, hard and a kick ass work out and i’ve been doing it for almost 3 years now. I love everything about the workout but haven’t been able to go as much as I want to lately. So i’m hoping with this new tracking requirement for my class, it will push me back into going as much as possible. With the workout being only 30 minutes, it seems like it would be easy to get in all the time, but between full time school, 30 hours a week at work and homework, the exhaustion piles up and it’s easy to let it fall by the wayside.
I’ll be using the app Tracker Lite to track how many times a week i’ll be working out. At the end of each week i’ll write a post summing my week up and reflecting on how I feel about letting you all know about it.
