I read both of these this year and I am so dumb for not having picked Cinder up when it fist came out last year. But now I am hooked and totally head over heels for this series.
Same goes for this BADASS series! Oh man. Allie has quickly made it to the top 2 of my favourite badass leading ladies in YA, beside Rese Hathaway from Vampire Academy. My Immortal Rules review and my Eternity Cure review
Hot damn this book blew me away. The paranoia I felt throughout was off the charts. And every other insane little aspect of this book kept me totally hooked the entire time. Cannot wait for the next one! My Review.
I bought this right when it first came out and I put it off for a long time because it was so hyped up that I think I just got scared of it? I have no clue, but I am so glad I did finally read it because it was seriously perfect. My review.
I discovered all of JLA’s books this year and have plowed through almost all of them now. Wait For You was one of the first books I read in the New Adult genre and I loved it! So looking forward to Frigid and Origin!
Not even sure if I have fully accepted that this series is over because it was the best. My feelings on this last book are mixed, and I didn’t write a review because I was fairly confused on how I felt other than knowing I did totally love it.
Holy crap these books blew me away. So disappointed I hadn’t read them sooner!
I don’t know why I hadn’t read anything by Sarah Ockler before this but I am so glad I did. I loved The Book of Broken Hearts so much that I went out and bought all of Ockler’s books and have just devoured them. She quickly became a favourite author! My review.
BONUS! I told you I wouldn’t be able to do just 10.
These are some of my other favourites that weren’t released in 2013 either but I have finally gotten around to reading them and loved em.
11. Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour (review) + Second Chance Summer (review)– Morgan Matson
12. My Life Next Door- Huntley Fitzpatrick (review)
13. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight- Jennifer E. Smith
14. Wanderlove- Kirsten Hubbard (review)
I seriously could go on and on but i’ll leave it at that!
